From the introduction of this book, you get the idea that Anthony Browder is very influence by the work done by John G. Jackson, John Henrik Clarke, and Yosef ben-Jochannan. These three men have done some of the most profound research and writing on early African history and the Nile Valley contribution to civilization. The writings of these men contain a lot of scholarship, which to many people may be very difficult to read and understand. This is why this book is so important. Anthony took what Jackson, Clarke, and Jochannan wrote about in their books and translated it so that the average person could read and understand. The theme of this book is centered on early Africa, early Africa's stolen legacy and early Africa's contributions to civilization. It also puts an emphasis on how those early contributions was translated into today's American society. In chapters 1-3, Mr. Browder talks about the people of early African civilization. He tells where they came from, who they were, what they did, and when they existed. He puts a special emphasis on the many accomplishments of the early African people. In chapters 4-7, Mr. Browder talks about the stolen legacy of early African civilization. He shows how other civilization took what the early African contributed and made it its own. He goes to great links to show and prove that what the Europeans claim as theirs was actually African in origin and rightfully belong to the African. In addition, he explains how American society has adopted early African symbols into its government structure. The finally chapters 8-10 are designed to assist the African/African-American mind to cope with the information given in chapters 1-7. The last chapters all have to do with building pride and understanding where we still must go and what we still must be. The period of this book stretches from about 4000BC into the present. The book is structured as to give a chronological development of early African history and its gives you a progressive pattern of how this history has contributed to civilization. The first seven chapters of this book are excellent. I have read many books on the subject of early African history and its contribution to civilization. This book is the easiest to read and understand. I believe that my son when he reaches the age of 10 would be able to read and comprehend this book. The only weakness of this book is chapters 8-10. These chapters I feel are an extension of his earlier books The Browder File Vol. II and I. I feel as though these chapters have nothing to do with the basic theme of this book, which is centered on early African history and its contribution to civilization Overall, I think that this is a very good book for young children or for adults who have an interest in learning about early African history.

Although I have been out of college many years, I must say, in all of my schooling, I have not had a history lesson such as this. This book was excellent in showing the hidden history of Africans and our true accomplishments. I was amazed at how much has been taken from us and how many contributions have been made by our people. Much has been used without proper accreditation. I highly recommend this book and think that it should be read across all races.

What Nile Valley does is give you a chronological event of history. Browder supports his 'uncommon' thought and findings with archealogical facts and findings. He intertwines everything from the origin of religions, to civilization of the now 'America', to building architectures. In order to dispell any unfounded criticism he has walked through history from as far back as perhaps 5,000 B.C. in a chronological manner siting dates and even giving dynastic periods. He shows pictures recent and ancient, similarities between recent and ancient, and is even thorough enough to show you the manner in which 'alphabets' progressed. The only reason I did not give him 5 stars is because he did not touch upon the origin of the multitude of races. More specifically the now European race. I felt this info would have been helpful for the reader in understanding why the caucasoid race is the most adamant in denying and hiding the origins of civilization. Scientifically, we learn as kids that black contains all the colors in the rainbow and white is absent of all the colors. This fact leads to a correlation of an origin that begin with black who then spawned all other colors. Therefore, our color now is a direct effect of geographical positioning over time, climate change, and adaptation to environments. I believe he could've presented this info better than I just tried and it would've given a better understanding, some kind of reasoning to the caucasoid Africans internal anger and denial. The Black African would then be more receptive and at least know the subconscious logic behind the actions of the caucasoid African. This book will force you to look deeper into history and start generating basic questions about current history taught.

Oh my God! This is truly a book that needs to book on the book shelves of every school library and in the hands of all teachers, whether they teach european history(plagarized african history) or are an african american studies teacher! Every parent also needs to add this to their book shelves and teach their children what the system won't! Don't be blind anyomore and stand up and take your place as the Pharoahs and Queens that we ARE! I have already begun and recommend that you do the same. Mr. Browder's daughter, Atlantis Browder, also has a chilren's book, for beginning, that is a good basis to start your children off with, I did! You feel betrayed for not being taught this in school, I know I did! Peace My Pharoahs and Queens of the World!

Every black household should have a copy of this book, and it should be required reading of all family members.

I have to admit that this is what I consider to be the first real 'african-american' history book that I have come across in my school years (although I had to find it on my own). I can only pray that maybe my grandchildren and greatgrandchildren will have the opportunity to recieve their lesson in african american pride in public/private schooling. But today, students remain subjected to a view of our past in a perspective that completely slants our perception of who we are.

This is a good beginner book brothers and sisters that are beginning to learn more about our history. The material in the book was written in very plain, common sense that the average person can learn and build on. This is a must for your libaray and good material for our children to learn about our rich history. But this is only the begining for those who are in search for more light (knowledge). Peace,

Alot of people that write books that detail how Africa began civilization and how Egypt correlates to the rest of society sometimes don't explain it in terms that anyone can understand. That is why I so much appreciate how he does his books, by breaking it down to an elementary level so anyone can read. Me myself I am way over an elementary level, but when I refer to things I want other people to read as begginners I have to start of with this book. This books sums up many works plainly, and simply in about 200 pages.

As an African American male, I give a standing ovation to the contents of this book. Mr. Browder states, in very simplistic and understandable form, many of the contributions that the Ancient Africans have made modern civilizations all over the world. To any African American who wishes to know some about people from which they came, I highly recommend this book. TEACH THIS TO YOUR CHILDREN AS WELL!!!!!!!

This book has many illustrations and pictures. 95% of the sculptures in Egypt have their noses destroyed, but look carefully and you can see that the base structure of the nose is broad and African. 'you can fool some people sometimes..' Overall, the book is well put together. Lots of topics and great photo section.

Amazing. This is the history I should have been ..

By Msmonikaon Aug 11, 2015

Amazing. This is the history I should have been taught in grade school. How in the world would we expect the ones who wrote history to be honest? Quite naturally the history writer's would emplicate that they are and have always been the dominant, most influenced race..smh. Everything in the dark, must come to light. God sees and knows all!!!

I have had this book since I was ten.. I borrowed my grandmother's copy. There's a wealth of information in it. I would like to see more references as to where some of the quotes come from. I just believe in researching information as in depth as possible. Maybe the use of footnotes would have helped me out.. Not sure. I purchased a new opt to share with a friend of mine, and I may buy more copies soon.

I've bought this book about 6 times. They are great gifts for anyone interested in Nile Valley culture. The author is a friend. Tony Browder walks it likes he talks it. Currently on a dig in Egypt, restoring the tomb of Karackamun, Mr. Browder also hosts tours in Washington DC showing Egypt's influence on the Potomac. As for the book it's thoroughly written, excellent facsimiles, clear and consise.

He covered just about everything you could have imagined!

A must have in every African home in Africa and throughout the Diaspora!

By Andrew S.on Feb 10, 2016

Has been my number one book on Ancient African History for over 20 years! Much of what Eurocentric education has erased from the worlds memory is inside this book. A must have for any lover of History, Africa, Religion and truth! I have owned over 10 copies and given well over 20 copies away of this book as gifts. You will not be disappointed!

Its more like imploding the African man. This book is a great read for someone interested in learning more culture about an ancient people who actually didnt get destroyed by Hyksos(Greeks)but a people who literally walked away from culture they created simply because it was best. From this book first page it fills the void for so many questions I have had growing up. This book is a great reference aswell and I recommend it to young adults globally it can also be good for those who may only know about the Egyptians from the bible myths.

It's about time! Let it be know that Black people have an immense global history and although WS try to hide that fact-what they do in the darkness WILL come to light! This is a must have for ALL non-whick people and especially Black people to understand our role and our future destiny in this untold and ever-changing story. A Great documentary!

.. well before the expected due date and in the best of shape

By Saalih K. Muzakkiron Feb 09, 2017

This book was received well before the expected due date and in the best of shape. It is like a brand new book and I am very happy with this purchase, thank you!

I thought this book was an excellent resource for research into the origin of Christianity and the Bible. As one who has believed in Christ from an early age, I have, however, always wondered if the Bible is truly reliable for everything pertaining to life. The christian books and studies I have been involved in for years leaves no room for depth spiritually, of which I crave. This book has opened the door for expansion from the narrow views I have had thus far. The book is well written, the pictures are great, and the meaning the author gives for the images and what they represent was an amazing eye opener for me. I would refer this book to all who are thirsty for more spiritually. This is a good place to start.

Customer Book Reviews

Wema fuel gauge manual muscle.
